A day after a second website for Trayvon Martin’s shooter surfaced pleading for financial donations, lawyers for the shooter, George Zimmerman, say they’re quitting his case. The announcement came less than 24 hours after Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey, announced that she alone, not a grand jury, would determine whether charges will be filed against Zimmerman. In today’s hasty press conference, Zimmerman’s former attorneys, Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig, said Zimmerman has not returned their calls, texts or emails. Zimmerman did; however, contact Corey and spoke off the record with Fox TV host Sean Hannity.

“We’re not taking the position that we’re leaving him,” said one lawyer. “Communication can’t be one way.”
