Last week Time Magazine sent shock waves across the nation with their cover photo. It showed a toddler breastfeeding and asked the question, when should you stop breastfeeding.
This no doubt helped bolster sales and brand visibility for publication.
This week Newsweek responded with a very controversial cover of their own. The current issue shows a picture of President Barack Obama with a rainbow halo and calls him The First Gay President. This is undoubtedly in response to his position last week regarding civil unions … and they needed to compete with Time’s racy cover.
What do you think about this? Have magazines gone too far?
