Weed smokers received a big win in the Nation’s Capital as the DC Council votes 11-1 to decriminalize marijuana this week. Ironically, Marion Barry was not present for the vote. The lone no vote was rendered by Ward 7 councilwoman Yvette Alexander, who is afraid that decriminalizing marijuana usage is one step from full legalization.
