Carolina Therapeutic Services is playing a critical role in providing a safe and loving enviornment for children in need of Foster Care. The agency serves well over 100 children in Charlotte and surrounding areas. When children in crisis require emergency placement because of abuse, neglect or any number of other reasons, Carolina Therapeutic Services works with entities such as the Mecklenburg County of Social Services to ensure that potential Foster Care parents are trained and prepared to provide a caring and stable home for these children. ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland talked with Rebekah Austin, Licensing Specialist for Carolina Therapeutic Services, Corey Sutton PR/Marketing Director for Carolina Therapeutic Services and Aundra Spencer, a Senior Social Worker for Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services about their efforts to serve the children in need of Foster Care.
