carmax-and-la-clippers

Old School 105.3 has been keeping you updated with all the latest on the Donald Sterling controversy.

According to USA Today, CarMax, State Farm Insurance, Kia Motors America, airline Virgin America, P. Diddy’s water brand, AQUAHydrate, Red Bull, Yokohama tires and Mercedes-Benz, are no longer sponsoring the L.A. Clippers.

TMZ recently reported that CarMax was the first to pull out as a sponsor for the L.A. Clippers. A rep made a statement to end their 9-year relationship with the NBA team.

“CarMax finds the statements attributed to the Clippers’ owner completely unacceptable.”

“These views directly conflict with CarMax’s culture of respect for all individuals. While we have been a proud Clippers sponsor for 9 years and support the team, fans and community, these statements necessitate that CarMax end its sponsorship.”
