TMZ revealed legal documents from Jace’s prior divorce that stated the actor choked his wife in front of their child.
“The Shield” star was booked Tuesday for allegedly shooting and murdering his wife, 40-year-old April Jace. The actor went through a divorce from his first wife in 1997 and the documents obtained by the gossip site shows that a friend of Jennifer Bitterman claims she witnessed Jace choking and throwing his wife against a wall.
The witness also mentioned that his 6-month-old son at the time was also present at the time of the violent dispute. The friend noted that Jace was out of control and said, “Seeing the extent of his anger was one of the most terrifying things I have ever seen.”
The friend also claimed that this incident was only one of multiple physical assaults on the ex-wife.
