A march in honor of slain Trayvon Martin is scheduled for Sunday, April 1, in Uptown Charlotte, on the corner of Trade and Tryon streets, according to a news release. The peaceful demonstration is set to begin at 5 p.m. Martin, a 17-year-old high school student, was shot and killed, in Sanford, Fla., on February 26. His killer, George Zimmerman, has yet to be charged. Everyone is invited to walk in memory of Trayvon Martin in hoodies to show respect and fight for justice.
