Charlotte was alive Friday night.

Pam Grier aka Foxy Brown made an appearance at the Gantt Center for a book signing sponsored by Real Eyez Bookstore.  The event brought out a few local celebrities including Rudy Currence and Special Ed.  Attendees were treated to a 70’s-inspired fashion show and had an opportunity to view the film Foxy Brown while getting their book signed.

The same night Centerstage in NoDa hosted Arts, Beats + Lyrics, an urban art exhibition. This was the third time the event was in the City and it was definitely a great experience … though it ended too soon.

So, many left and went to the NC Music Factory to experience Wet Willie’s Charlotte.

Saturday people from all around the area came to University Research Park to learn how to go green at Green Goats and Gardens.
