The holidays are an especially emotional time for struggling families. With Thanksgiving only days away and Christmas just around the corner, a bevy of assistance agencies have already begun to reach out to families in need. The Charlotte Rescue Mission for example provides critical services to men and women mired in drug addiction and alcohol. The Mission’s Dove’s Nest Division also provides critical resources for women and children in need.
