Ex- Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison Wednesday after being found guilty on 20 of 21 counts of bribery, money laundering, tax evasion, and other charges, according to The Daily Beast. 

Nagin, 58,  served as mayor of New Orleans for two terms, including after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The former Mayor was facing 20 or more years in prison, but will be only serving 10. Nagin is expected to go to prison Sept. 8 and has been ordered to serve at minimum-security federal detention center.
