Man, is summer over already?!? It may as well be! A lot of kids will be returning to school in a few more weeks and parents are beginning to feel the pressure! IT’S BACK TO SCHOOL TIME!!! We have to get these kids ready for the new school year!!! Pencils, paper, markers, binders, bookbags, new clothes…the list goes on and on.
This year, I decided to start my shopping early! Throughout the summer I picked up a few pieces here and there. I figured, if I paced my shopping it would prevent me from overspending. Plus, I could avoid having to fight the “back to school” crowd in the department stores and malls. Personally, I think it worked well! I managed to stay within my budget and Ladybug got exactly what she wanted!
Understanding that a lot of parents still have shopping to do for their kids, I would advise to CHECK OUT THE SALES PAPER!! Also, take advantage of “no tax” days in your state, if they have it! And whatever you do Mom and Dad…. don’t give into the temptation to get your baby that hot new item that’s going bust your budget! Sure, we want our kids to look and feel their best, but remember… they’re going to school to learn, not for a fashion show! #raisingbrilliance
