We all know what hand sanitizers are!  Pretty harmless right?  Wrong!!  Kids are using them to get drunk!

Some hand sanitizers contain 45-95 percent of alcohol.  So 2-3 squirts in some cases can cause alcohol poisoning.  In comparison, beer or wine only contains anywhere from 12% – 5 % percent of alcohol.  So that’s a huge difference.  Plus, companies are making these sanitizers so enticing with their frangrances.  For instance, strawberry and cream, orange popsicle.  It just smells delicious, but it’s extremely harmful to a child.   Causing some fairly serious side effects like confusion, vomiting, drowsiness, and in severe cases a child can stop breathing.
