Wow…..this thing just gets more interesting by the day! Now it has been revealed that newly appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied about meeting with Russian officials. It has come out that he met with Russia’s ambassador to Washington twice last year. Why is this a problem you ask? Because this totally contradicts his statements in Senate confirmation hearings where he said he had no contact with the Russians. Earlier this afternoon he ‘recused’ himself from any probes of the Trump administration, but some representatives of the Senate, Congress, & protesters (as you see here in front of the Justice Department in Washington D.C.) are calling for his resignation! Man…..we’ll see what happens!
