Wow…..due to his recent comments to a female reporter (Jordan Rodrigue) during a post practice press conference on Wednesday, Dannon (the yogurt folks) have decided to drop Cam Newton as their spokesperson. When asked about the route-running of Devin Funchess, he responded “It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes”. The video was posted to social media & many people (NFL, Pro Football Writers Of America, Charlotte Observer, etc) condemned his statements. They even went as far as calling his remarks ‘Sexist’. I really don’t think he meant it like that, but in the words of Bruce Hornsby & The Range….”That’s Just The Way It Is!”
