As Breast Cancer Awareness month comes to a close, it’s critical that our support of survivors continue. According to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer among American women. The mortality rate of Breast Cancer is higher in African American women than whites. When a woman is diagnosed with Breast Cancer, the long journey ahead is fraught with varying degrees of emotions ranging from depression to uncertainty.
