Lots of people are talking about LaVar Ball, the dad of NBA player Lonzo Ball!  Well, LaVar just gave people a little more to talk about.    He just filed his application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office to get the rights to the “JBA” a Junior Basketball Association.  The JBA will be a league for high school basketball players who don’t want to play for free in college, but can’t get to the NBA yet.  He is seeking to recruit 80 players to fill 10 teams and want to pay players $3K -$10k per month.  Reportedly, he wants to be up and running by Summer 2018.
