According to recent reports Magic is in talks to buy the Johnson Publishing, the brand behind Ebony and Jet. Besides acquiring the magazines and their archives the deal reportedly includes the magazine’s Chicago headquarters. No dollar figure or timetable has been given on any possible purchase.
